Hello!

I’m Lydia, L3 qualified Mat Pilates teacher & mum to 1 slightly wild toddler! I found Pilates during my first pregnancy when I was looking for something low impact and nourishing! I wanted to stay moving but having spent years at Gym’s, crossfit style & bootcamp style classes - I was looking for something a little different, something that felt a little more restful and gave me time to connect my mind and body. I’m now also clos

Pilates seemed to tick all those boxes, and I most definitely caught the bug and haven’t looked back since! I practice Pilates in some form most days - I enjoy the variation it brings - some days I go for more restful, mobility and stretch type exercises. and other days I used some of the more challenging moves to feel energised and strong!

Pilates is great as it has no barriers - whatever your fitness levels, health, pains or niggles - there is something for you and we can make lots of tweaks and accommodations to make the class work for you and your body. Pilates really gives you the time to slow down, connect and use your breath to power the exercises - in most of our busy lives this is super important! Classes incorporate a mix of strength and mobility moves, alongside lots of lovely stretches and time to relax at the end when we take a restful long stretch before finishing!

My teaching style is relaxed and informative - you’ll hopefully learn the ‘why’ of certain moves, what they’re good for and how to really get the most from them. There is zero pressure in my classes - this is your class so tailor it to how you feel, you’ll be given lots of options to modify and adapt each exercise so come and give it a try!
